Drone Services in Louisville, Kentucky
Louisville is home base. From the Ohio River waterfront to the Snyder, we fly here every week — and we know the airspace as well as the skyline.
Michalow Visuals is based in Louisville, which means no travel fees inside Kentuckiana and fast scheduling — often same-week for standard shoots on either side of the river.
Flying here takes local airspace knowledge: much of the metro sits under Louisville Muhammad Ali International (SDF) Class C airspace and Bowman Field’s Class D, so many neighborhoods require FAA authorization before takeoff. As Part 107 certified pilots we handle LAANC authorizations routinely — usually approved before we finish loading the truck.
It’s a good market to fly in, too. UPS Worldport anchors one of the busiest logistics corridors in the country, the bourbon industry keeps rickhouses and distillery campuses expanding, and downtown’s riverfront and bridge skyline gives real estate and event footage a backdrop most cities can’t match. Whether it’s a rooftop inspection in the Highlands, progress flights on an East End jobsite, or event coverage at the Waterfront, we’re already in the neighborhood.
